Vinyasa Flow Yoga Open Classes

Vinyasa Flow is a graceful, fluid style of yoga where movement and breath are intrinsically linked. Each asana (pose) moves seamlessly into the next.  It is creative, uplifting and joyful.  Each week we will work with a new theme which is then translated into a carefully sequenced class with a clear anatomical focus. Classes are suitable for all levels.

Thursday 8.00 – 9.15pm
Saturday 9.00 – 10.15am

£50 for 5 weeks or £12 drop-in (please call first to check availability)

Beginners Yoga Course

Throughout the 5 week course we will look at the foundational poses of yoga: standing, seated, backbending and Sun Salutations.  We will also look at pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and will touch on the philosophy that underpins this 5,000 year old science that aims to integrate mind, body and spirit.  At the end of the course you will have the necessary tools to join the Vinyasa Flow Open Classes or you can continue doing the course until you feel ready to progress.

Yoga For Runners

Yoga is the perfect compliment to a running regime, be it a 5k jog once a week or a 50k weekly training programme.

Classes will start with Sun Salutations to generate heat in the body and prepare it for deep stretching of the hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings and calves.  There will also be pranayama (breathing exercises) to improve lung function and meditation for space, clarity and to better help you to focus on your running goals.

Pregnancy Yoga

The ancient system of yoga promotes mental and physical well-being, which is vital during times of transition or uncertainty. Your experience of being pregnant and giving birth will involve great physical and emotional changes. Knowing how to use and adapt yoga techniques to breathe, move and relax during this time will be of enormous benefit during this very personal adventure.

As your baby grows, yoga is used to strengthen, tone and relax you, as well as help nurture a happy, healthy and growing baby.


Pregnancy yoga can help;

  • With common pregnancy ailments e.g. heart burn, backache, constipation
  • Improve energy levels
  • Promote relaxation and a good night’s sleep
  • Prepare you for labour, birth and motherhood
  • Stretch, tone and strengthen muscles, skin and pelvic floor

Class Times

Saturday mornings from 10:30am – 11:45am

Pregnancy yoga classes are suitable for anyone from 15 weeks of pregnancy. No previous experience of yoga is needed. All mats, blocks and straps are provided.

Sammie Mason is a fully qualified teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga, (the governing body for Yoga in the UK), as well as a mum of two boisterous boys! She has been practising yoga for over 9 years.
