Name: Sam Tan
My passion for yoga began 6 years ago. It was almost by accident that I went along to my first yoga class and I have never looked back. Yoga has inspired me. It has opened my heart and mind and given me the self belief and purpose to explore it further and go on to train as a teacher. I want to share my passion and enjoyment of yoga and all the wonderful benefits of the practice. I am a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance.
I live in Hampton Wick with my husband and three children.
Hatha Yoga Classes
Hatha yoga is the foundation of all yoga. The practice encourages proper and safe alignment in the postures, bringing about balance and strength to both calm and energise the body, instil positivity and uplift the spirit.
Each class will involve breathing exercises and techniques, stretches and opening exercises, followed by a warm up of sun salutations and a flow through yoga poses and finally a yummy relaxation. The postures and class focus will vary week to week. The classes are suitable for all levels and ability.
